April 2011 Meeting

This will be THE meeting of the year! Don't miss it!

Wally Mead

Our next MN System Center User Group meeting will be Friday, April 22nd from 11am - 2pm at Microsoft's Bloomington HQ.

Steve Bobosky hands Wally Mead a Where's Wally button

We're proud to announce that Wally Mead, Senior Program Manager, Microsoft will be our speaker! Odds are you already know who Wally is from reading his answers in the TechNet forums, watching a webcast, seeing him at a past session at MMS or seeing him recently in the labs there. He's signed up to do a couple dozen labs at MMS this year and if that isnt enough, he wrote them all too.

You might also have seen the "Where's Wally" buttons we handed out at MMS a couple years ago. The idea for that came from my fellow MVP, Steve Bobosky (pictured giving Wally one of the buttons). We MVPs love Wally and noticed that Microsoft had him hidden away at all the MMS labs. We just spent another week with him up in Redmond where all we did was talk about CM12. He knows it inside out and since our meeting is post-MMS, he'll be able to talk about almost every facet with no restrictions from marketing.

And we'll have various swag items, one of which will be a copy of Windows 7 Pro

Windows 7 Professional

Jarvis says that CDW can sponsor this meeting (food and drink), so thanks again, Jarvis!

As always, to help figure out the food and drink count, we ask that you register for the event at ClickToAttend
