December 2010 Meeting
Our next MN System Center User Group meeting will be Thursday, December 16th at 5:00pm at Microsoft's Bloomington HQ. Food and drinks will be provided starting at 4:30pm.
This month, there is no corporate sponsor, so we'll be passing around a donation cup to cover the costs. If you plan on taking part in the food and drinks, please be prepared to bring $5 or so to cover your own costs or feel free to bring your own food/drinks to share as well by 4:30pm. It's important to occasionally have months like this because of those people who are not allowed to accept "gifts" of any size, including a slice of pizza, especially those public sector folks. So let's all pitch in and dine together without the strings associated with a vendor sponsored meal.
This month we're covering the 2 topics most in demand by our group: log files & CM tools. If you consider yourself skilled in digging through the SCCM logs, come prepared with your own notes from the field. If you consider yourself lost trying to figure out what log to look at or what to look for when you're in the logs, come with your questions. Likewise, if you have a few tools you think every CM person should have, come prepared to share with the group. If you have a need that you wish someone had a tool for, come prepared to ask if anyone has something or could build something. This is going to be a great knowledge sharing session where everyone will walk away with a gem they didn't have before the meeting.
