November 2010 Meeting
Our next MN System Center user group will be meeting Wednesday, November 17th at 5:00pm at Microsoft's Bloomington HQ. Food and drinks will be provided by B|DNA starting at 4:30pm.
Asset Intelligence, are you using it? Are you just using Add/Remove programs or software inventory to know if something is installed? Are you able to comb through your software inventory or hardware inventory and get useful information about it? To what extent are people using Asset Intelligence? How are people getting end-of-lifecycle information about your software or about lifecycle information about your computers?
This month we'll talk about these subjects. There will also be a demonstration from B|DNA on their "Normalize" product. They've come up with some innovative ways to address some of these issues as well, either as a product you buy and use yourself, or as a service offering that they will provide for you.
As with all meetings this year, we plan to save time for a round-table where people can bring their questions, concerns, problems, projects, anecdotes and anything else they want to bring to the meeting and work through them.
To benefit the folks ordering food & drink, we ask you to register for the meeting at ClicktoAttend.
