August 2016 Meeting Notes

As soon as we get Vintzel's slide deck, we'll post it here. Here are the two queries I showed at during the O365 Readiness part of the session. You can use these in SRS once on 1906 to get data similar to what the Readiness Dashboard shows in the console:

SELECT OMA.Name,
OMA.Issue,
OMA.Severity,
OMA.RuleDescription AS 'Rule description', VBV.OfficeApp0 AS [Office App], VBV.FileCount0 AS Count
FROM v_GS_OFFICE_VBARULEVIOLATION AS VBV RIGHT OUTER
JOIN vSMS_OfficeMacroAdvisory AS OMA
ON VBV.ResourceID = OMA.MachineID
WHERE (OMA.SiteID = N'SMS00001')
AND (VBV.GroupID = 1)
ORDER BY OMA.Issue, OMA.Name

SELECT
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.FriendlyName as 'Friendly name',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.CompanyName as 'Company name',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.AddinVersion as 'Add-in version',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.DeviceCount as 'Device count',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.SupportStatus as 'Support status',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.AdoptionStatus as 'Adoption status',
CASE WHEN SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.AdoptedVersionAvailable = '1' THEN 'Yes' ELSE 'No' END as 'Adopted version available',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.AddinReadiness as 'Readiness',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.Architecture,
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.EntityId as 'ID',
CASE WHEN SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.IsFirstParty = '1' THEN 'Yes' ELSE 'No' END AS 'First Party',
SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.IsNowBuiltIn as 'Now builtin',
CASE WHEN SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.IsPublic = '1' THEN 'Yes' ELSE 'No' END AS 'Public',
CASE WHEN SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness.IsRemovedFrom2016 = '1' THEN 'Yes' ELSE 'No' END AS 'Removed from 2016'
FROM vSMS_OfficeAddinReadiness AS SMS_OfficeAddinReadiness
ORDER BY DeviceCount DESC, Architecture, AddinReadiness
