Thanks for a great meeting in Minneapolis. I thought your group was very interactive, and provided a ton of good feedback. I'm finally through with getting it all submitted. Hopefully this will help prove that visiting y'alls groups are worthwhile and beneficial to the product group.

Here are the comments on the feedback provided. If you want to post/distribute as appropriate, that would be great.

• Want to be able to change the site server computer name in a recovery scenario (such as a server naming standard change) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want to be able to set different rate limits for different days of the week like you can set the schedule and priorities (ie. more bandwidth is available on weekends than they want used by us during the week) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want us to publish our updates through WSUS, so you can deploy them through ConfigMgr also *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want an easier way to get prestaged content to a DP without having to add content to all prestaged DPs. They'd like to use a DP group to create a prestaged content file, then automatically add all content in the prestaged files to all DPs without having to target the content to the DPs individually *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want the ability to create 'templates' for our wizards to provide their own defaults so that it is easier for admins to create objects according to company policies (too often admins forget to select some specific option) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want superflows - especially for the application model *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want a 'NOT Exist' or 'NOT Set' operator for detection methods - such as one regkey does exist and one regkey does not exist *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want to have patches (application specific) to be automatically deployed after the application has been deployed (such as .msu) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Need some ability to re-deploy an app in the event a virus corrupts or deletes a file. MSI detection still sees the app as installed. They also want a Reinstall button in Application Catalog that would uninstall then reinstall the application. *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want Software Center to show all apps by querying all apps with an uninstall command line (even if not installed by the user). Today we only show what has been installed by the user, and is not required. *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Add some type of randomization to control software deployments - such as throttle to 10% of targeted clients until 90% compliant of those 10%, then add another 10%, etc. *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Supply user friendly error codes in logs (convert from hex to English :-) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Enable BranchCache client support in Client Settings (want to disable it for VDI) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want ability to tell if content was targeted to a DP individually or from a DP group (if a DP group member, it gets listed both for the DP group, as well as the DP). *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want a peer review system to help prevent accidental deployments to wrong collections *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want dependency installation ordering control *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want to be able to edit global condition scripts after adding as a requirement. Currently have to delete each revision history before you can edit the script *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want to control the deployment type for a collection (different settings per DT to different collections). Today either have to create different apps or add a lot of conditions *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want only one portal for end users to install/uninstall software *** I submitted this as a DCR previously, added you to it.
• Want an "Application Catalog" tab for a package/program properties to allow customization *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want to have a task sequence select an application even if the application has one deployment type that is set to allow interaction with the desktop. Much like you can pick the deployment type for a specific application dependency *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want driver importing to filter out all drivers other than NIC and storage (today allows you to import audio and USB hub drivers) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Allow the ability to switch the UI from the default OSD progress bar to a custom one *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• When trying to CTAL+A to select all drives in a folder, it selects all drivers from all folders *** I submitted this as a bug.
• Have seen an issue where if one user is editing a task sequence, and the console crashes, it locks the task sequence object so that no one else can edit it *** I submitted this as a bug. Really need server and admin console log files when this happens.
• Allow multiple people to edit a single task sequence at the same time (they have different admins who work on different sections of the TS) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• Want ability to select multiple packages from the "Select the application to install" wizard *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• When doing a PXE boot, the first boot image started on the client (prior to the task sequence appearing) is the last one deployed *** I submitted this as a DCR.
• They want a Preview button for a collection query before they finish the collection (like we have a Preview now for ADRs) *** I submitted this as a DCR.
